After two pre-season matches in Scandinavia, Roy Hodgson’s side are now taking on Oxford United at The Kassam Stadium. The match is available to stream worldwide, live for free, on Palace TV – via the club’s official app and eagles.cpfc.co.uk.
United will start their league season one week ahead of The Eagles on August 4th against Barnsley and come into this game on the back of a 3-0 friendly victory at Aldershot Town in midweek.
The stream will be available from an hour before kick-off.
This is a free service for fans, but you must register for a Palace account in advance if you haven’t already done so.
Fans wishing to watch the game are encouraged to go through the following steps to ensure swift and stable access to the stream.
Live Stream Guidance
To watch the stream, you must register in advance for a free Palace account. Registration information can be found here. We suggest you do this well in advance of kick-off.
If viewing on desktop or tablet, simply click here .
If you intend to view the stream on the Palace app, you can download the app here (iOS or Android). For existing app users, please ensure you are running the very latest version of the app (check in the App Store / Google Play store).
Then, simply tap ‘Palace TV’ on the bottom menu, log-in or register when prompted, then click ‘Live’. When the stream is live, press the grey box to begin the stream. It is recommended that you have a stable internet connection and that you are not switching between WiFi and 3G/4G.
If your live stream does not load, please try restarting the app. If that fails and you still cannot get the stream to load, please go to More > Settings > Link accounts > then unlink Palace TV, then link it back. You will have to log-in again from the Palace TV section, but this is a known bug fix.
If it continues to fail, please email Support from within the app, and view the stream on mobile internet/desktop at eagles.cpfc.co.uk.
Enjoy the game!
