Crystal Palace will be heading to Scandinavia this summer to play pre-season friendlies in Denmark and Sweden against FC Helsingør and Halmstads BK respectively.
The Eagles will take on Danish side Helsingør on Thursday 12th July at the Helsingør Stadium, before then facing Halmstads four days later on Monday 16th July at their Örjans Vall ground.
The game against the Swedes will see Roy Hodgson reunited with the club that he started his managerial career with in the late 1970s, where he enjoyed success by lifting two league titles in 1976 and 1979 before departing a year later.
Both games will be kicking off at 6.30pm local time, or 5.30pm BST.
Speaking about the trip, Hodgson said: "I am delighted to return to two countries which have meant a lot to me during my managerial career - Halmstad where it all began in 1976 and Helsingør where I shall meet up with their manager Christian Lønstrup, who played at FC Copenhagen when we won our first Danish Championship.
"Most importantly, this week in Scandinavia will provide us with the ideal platform in our preparation for the new Premier League season, with excellent training facilities and good quality opponents who are in the middle of their respective seasons."
The trip will be Palace’s first visit to the region since the summer of 2007 when they also played friendlies in Sweden against Scandinavian opposition during Peter Taylor’s time in charge of the Eagles.
Ticket details will be announced when they become available.
