Crystal Palace will head to the Madejski Stadium to take on Reading in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 28th July.
Roy Hodgson’s team will travel to Berkshire for a 3pm kick-off, in what will be the first meeting of the sides since the FA Cup quarter-final in March 2016 when Palace advanced by winning 2-0.
The Eagles have won three and draw one of their eight previous competitive games at the Madejski Stadium, where they will return as part of their preparations for the 2018/19 Premier League season.
The Royals ended last season 20th in the Championship table, with Paul Clement replacing Jaap Stam as manager in March to halt the side’s slide, having been within a whisker of reaching the Premier League the previous season but lost on penalties to Huddersfield Town in the play-off final.
Ticket details for the game will be announced in the coming days.
