The ref

The referee for this game will be Lee Mason, who has only issued one red card from a combined 39 Palace and United matches. His assistants will be Harry Lennard and Marc Perry and the fourth official is Anthony Taylor.

United manager Jose Mourinho has only lost one of his 51 Premier League home games kicking off at 3.00pm on a Saturday, against Crystal Palace for Chelsea in August 2015.

By car

If travelling by car to the stadium, fans have been advised to arrive far in advance of kick-off, as surrounding roads become highly congested.

Supporters who wish to book parking can do so online or by calling 0161 868 8000. Supporters who require blue badge parking or require a larger parking bay for wheelchair access can call 0161 868 8009 to book.

Directions to the stadium from London are as follow:

Leave the M6 at Junction 19 and take the A556 in the direction of Manchester Airport. Continue onto the M56 to Manchester, passing the Airport, and follow the signs to the M60 (Leeds/Liverpool). Leave the M60 at Junction 7 (A56 Chester Road) and continue through the lights until you reach the stadium.

Public transport

If travelling by public transport, the Metrolink service operates a frequent service from the City Centre (including Victoria & Piccadilly Stations) to Old Trafford station which is a ten minute walk from the stadium.

On a matchday, Northern Railway operates a service from City Centre stations directly to Old Trafford Stadium where the station is located along the South Stand.

Transport for Greater Manchester operates a regular bus service to Old Trafford from the City Centre.

Please be aware that Old Trafford Metrolink station is accessible for wheelchair users, however Old Trafford Train Station is not.

Tickets and programme

If you need to speak to someone regarding your ticket, Ticketing & Membership Services is located in car park W2. You can also call United’s contact centre with any enquiries on 0161 868 8000. Supporters with specific seating requirements or disabilities should call 0161 868 8009.

The Manchester United programme, United Review, costs £3.50 and can be bought from booths in and around the stadium.

Food and drink

Refreshments are available from catering vans outside the stadium as well as from the kiosks on the stadium concourses, which open two hours before kick-off. All of the internal kiosks have a card payment facility including contactless.

There’s a wide selection to choose from, and food and drink items can be purchased individually or as part of the multi-buy deals described below. Vegetarian and Halal options are available.

The club have recommended that fans adhere to the following advice due to enhanced safety measures and roadworks around Old Trafford.

Arrive at Old Trafford and get to your turnstile at least one hour before the start of the match (turnstiles will open two hours before kick-off: 13.00).

Do not bring a bag larger than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (8” x 6” x 2”) with you to the match; this equates to a small handbag.
