Michy Batshuayi has arrived in south London, today taking part in his first ever interview as a Crystal Palace player to offer fans a flavour of what's to come.
This evening, at the end of his first trip to Copers Cope, he expressed his excitement to be with the club after landing in London earlier in the day.
Having pulled on a red and blue shirt for the first time, Batshuayi said, "I am very happy. The first thing I want to say is thank you for everything, to the coach, to the club; I'm very happy to come here to the Premier League.
"Palace wanted me before [I joined] Chelsea. I respect this club and I like my role here, I think it's the best moment to come; the best time."
Having already enjoyed an illustrious career, the 25-year-old frontman has experienced some crucial moments on the pitch so far. Perhaps the most significant of these, however, was scoring Chelsea's winning goal against West Bromwich Albion to win the Blues the 2016/17 Premier League title.
Looking back on the moment, Batshuayi said, "I was very happy [to score the goal], I can't explain the moment but it was the best moment in my world."
And to finish up, the Belgian explained that he already knew one or two players from Roy Hodgson's squad, saying, "I know Benteke and Bakary Sako because we have the same agent."
