Team News: Zaha and Kelly Return for Hammers Clash

9 February 2019

Roy Hodgson has made two changes to his Palace side to play West Ham United, with Wilfried Zaha returning after suspension to face the Irons.

The winger, whose last-minute strike snatched a point for the Eagles in this corresponding fixture last season, returns to the starting line-up with Jordan Ayew dropping to the bench, while Martin Kelly is handed his first league start since December with James Tomkins missing with a broken nose.

Michy Batshuayi is named on the bench once again alongside Joel Ward who returns to the matchday squad.

West Ham meanwhile are unsurprisingly unchanged from Monday night’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool although Marko Arnautovic is named on the bench after recovering from injury.

Palace: Guaita, Wan-Bissaka, Kelly, Sakho, Van Aanholt, Townsend, Milivojevic, Schlupp, McArthur, Zaha, Benteke. Subs: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Meyer, Sako, Ayew, Batshuayi.

West Ham: Fabianski, Fredricks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Antonio, Rice, Noble, Snodgrass, Anderson, Hernandez. Subs: Adrian, Zabaleta, Masuaku, Obiang, Diagana, Arnautovic, Carroll.
