Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for his 30-yard wonderstrike against Manchester City as the Eagles' ran out 3-2 victors in December.
Townsend's goal was the second of the match and caught the eye of fans across the country the second it stretched the back of City's netting.
But it's not the first time that the 27-year-old has been recognised for his impressive strikes, as he was awarded with Premier League Goal of the Month against West Bromwich Albion in March 2017.
"Thankfully the fans have agreed that it was a great strike and voted me for Goal of the Month.
"I'm not great at volleys. You can see by my reaction how surprised I was and how grateful I was. To be honest, I didn't really know how good a goal it was at the time. But it was a special, special day for myself. It was a game we needed to win but no one expected us to win. Thankfully we scored two quick-fire goals and it helped us to pick up three massive, massive points.
"Thanks to those who voted!"
Townsend was also nominated for the award for his strike against Burnley during Palace's 2-0 win on their first game of December.
