Gold Member Ticket Ballot FAQs

See below for further information on any questions you have around how the Gold Membership ticket ballot works.

What if you get accepted in the ballot and then refuse it?

If you are successful in your application for a ticket via the away ballot, this will be counted as a completed application. You do not need to purchase the ticket, however you will be unable to apply for any further ballots.

How are the ballot winners selected?

These are selected at random from all supporters who have applied for the ballot.

How many tickets can I buy for each game?

You can only apply for one ticket per membership.

When does my application for a specific game need to be made?

No later than 4 weeks prior to the game. You can apply at any time before this.

Can I apply for a ticket to more than one game?

Tickets are limited to one per membership. You can apply for additional tickets through the ballot for friends/family, but they must be current 19/20 Gold Members.

Can I buy a ticket for more than one game through the ballot?

No, once you have been allocated a ticket via the ballot, you will be unable to apply for any future games. If you have applied for future games your application for those games will be removed.

If I don’t get a ticket through the ballot, can I still buy them online like normal?

Yes, your option to purchase via the normal sale phases subject to availability is not affected by the ballot, regardless of the success of your application.

How many tickets are available for each game through the ballot?

Each game will differ depending on the allocation received from the home club.

When will I find out if I’ve won access to buy my ticket?

Supporters who are successful via the ballot will receive an email shortly after the ballot has closed for each away game.

If I get a ticket through the ballot, can it be seated with people who’ve bought through the normal process?

There are no guarantees that you will be able to purchase tickets with friends or family that have already purchased, but we will do our best to facilitate this. If you would like to purchase close or next to friends or family please call the box office when purchasing and advise them of the situation.

Can I get a junior ticket through the ballot?

No, you will only be able to purchase an adult ticket.

What happens if i’m not successful with my ballot application?

You will be notified shortly after the ballot has closed via email advising you that you were unsuccessful. You will then be able to purchase a ticket via the standard sales phases subject to availability.
