Team News: Speroni Starts at Liverpool

19 January 2019

Julian Speroni starts in goal at Anfield, in what is his 404th game for the Eagles and 93rd Premier League bow in his 14th season. It is the Argentinian’s first game for the club since December 2017.

It is Palace's only line-up change since last week's defeat to Watford.  Christian Benteke makes the bench against his old side as he continues his journey back to full match fitness, and Academy goalkeeper Joe Tupper makes his first apperance on a first team bench.

Liverpool have made three changes since beating Brighton last week, with Joel Matip, James Milner and Naby Keita coming in for Trent Alexander-Arnold, Xherdan Shaqiri and Gini Wijnaldum.

Liverpool: Alisson, Robertson, Matip, Van Dijk, Milner, Fabinho, Henderson (captain), Keita, Firmino, Mane, Salah.
Subs: Mignolet, Sturridge, Moreno, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi, Camacho.

Palace: Speroni, Van Aanholt, Wan-Bissaka, Sakho, Tomkins, Milivojevic (captain), Kouyate, McArthur, Zaha, Townsend, Ayew.
Subs: Tupper (GK), Dann, Meyer, Schlupp, Benteke, Wickham, Kelly
