Crystal Palace Under-23s defender Tyrick Mitchell has signed a contract extension with the club.
Mitchell first signed for the Eagles from Brentford as the 2015/16 season drew to a close and has since impressed both with Paddy McCarthy's Under-18 side and, more recently, Richard Shaw's Under-23 team.
This season, he has played in 11 games for the Under-23s, who currently sit second in the table, and has been training with the first team squad regularly.
Having agreed to extend his time in south London, Palace's number 38 said, "I'm excited and just want to get started and kick on from there. I've just tried to focus more, to see the end game.
"I'm not quite close [to being a first team player] but every day I'm closer than I was yesterday. I'm training with the first-team often, every week.
"My family are excited and proud of me, they were a big influence in my footballing career."
