12 July 2019

Wilfried Zaha's Ivory Coast have exited the Africa Cup of Nations after losing 3-4 on penalties to Algeria last night.

The Palace winger started for Les Éléphants before being replaced by Maxwell Cornet in the 94th minute. His country held Riyad Mahrez's Algeria to a 1-1 draw and were still level after a period of extra time failed to separate the two teams.
