TEAM NEWS: Five changes to Palace line-up

Max Meyer is set to lineup against Burnley this afternoon for his first league start since a 0-0 draw with Cardiff City on Boxing Day.

He comes in as one of five changes to the starting 11 the Eagles fielded on Wednesday night's 3-1 loss to Manchester United at Selhurst Park.

Defensively, Roy Hodgson has made three changes: bringing in Wayne Hennessey for Vicente Guaita, the fit again Aaron Wan-Bissaka for Joel Ward and Scott Dann for Martin Kelly.

Then, in midfield, Cheikhou Kouyate replaces Andros Townsend with Meyer coming in for James McArthur.

The Clarets have made one change to the side which lost 2-0 to Newcastle on Tuesday night, with Ashley Westwood replacing Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson in midfield.

Burnley: Heaton, Taylor, Mee, Tarkowski, Bardsley, McNeil, Cork, Hendrick, Westwood, Barnes, Wood.

Subs: Hart, Lowton, Gibson, Brady, Guðmundsson, Vydra, Crouch.

Palace: Hennessey, Van Aanholt, Tomkins, Dann, Wan-Bissaka, Schlupp, Milivojevic, Kouyate, Meyer, Zaha, Batshuayi.

Subs: Guaita, Ward, Kelly, McArthur, Townsend, Ayew, Benteke.
