A versatile defender comfortable anywhere across the backline, Kalembo has made his mark with composure in possession, an impressive passing range and an assured reading of the game.
Having made his competitive U18s debut as a substitute in a 6-3 victory at Ipswich Town in April 2026, Kalembo impressed throughout pre-season and earned a starting berth on the right of a back three for the new campaign’s opening-day win over West Ham United.
An injury briefly interrupted his momentum, but he returned to feature five times for the U18s this season before stepping up to Darren Powell’s Under-21s in September – a challenge he has embraced with remarkable confidence.
Introduced for the final 18 minutes of the stunning EFL Trophy victory over League One Swindon Town, Kalembo quickly established himself in Powell’s plans, with further appearances against Blackburn Rovers and Plymouth Argyle following in quick succession.
