Having established himself as one of the United States’ most promising prospects, the 19-year-old has signed a five-year deal in South London, subject to international clearance.
Utah-born Gozo joined the Real Salt Lake academy in 2021 and – following two years of eye-catching displays with Real Monarchs in the MLS Next Pro division – earned his Major League Soccer debut at just 16 years of age in October 2023.
Impressing with his pace, creativity and flair, Gozo has enjoyed a standout 2026 thus far, with six goals and four assists in RSL’s first 16 league games of the year – in turn earning himself a call-up for the 2026 MLS All-Star Game.
The attacker has also earned the attention of the U.S. Youth National Team, winning numerous call-ups for the Stars and Stripes at every level up to Under-23s. He was a starring member of the USA side which reached the 2024 CONCACAF U20s Championship final and the 2025 U20 World Cup quarter-finals.
Gozo becomes Palace’s sixth arrival of the summer transfer window, following that of Óscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Dwight McNeil, Evann Guessand and Anan Khalaili.
Chairman Steve Parish said: “It is great to welcome such an exciting young talent to Crystal Palace Football Club.
“I am looking forward to seeing what Zavier can achieve with us during his time in South London.”
Gozo added: “I’m really looking forward to playing in the Premier League with Crystal Palace. It’s the dream of any footballer.
“I’m excited by the people and the project they have going on here. I’ve seen a lot of it, and that’s what excites me about this club as well: the success that they’ve had.”
The club would like to welcome Zavier to South London, and wish him the very best for his career in red and blue.
