Kamada, 29, joined the Eagles almost two years ago to the day, moving to South London from Lazio, and has become an integral part of the Palace side, making 89 appearances and playing a key role in our FA Cup and UEFA Conference League triumphs.
This included a memorable goal in our European semi-final first-leg win over Shakhtar Donetsk last season, as well as two Palace Player of the Month awards.
When making his debut against Brentford on the opening day of 2024/25, Kamada became the first Japanese player in Palace’s history, and 1000th different player to represent the club since joining the Football League.
His new deal will run until the summer of 2027.
Chairman Steve Parish said: “This is fantastic news for Crystal Palace. Over the last two years Daichi has made a great impact in the centre of midfield, as well as becoming a fans’ favourite on and off the pitch.
“I am delighted that he has turned down the many options he had to extend his stay in South London.
“Daichi will now have a well-earned break after his excellent World Cup and join us later in pre-season as we enter a busy Premier League and European season.”
Kamada added: "Thanks for everything. We will get another trophy.
“I will give my all, I promise you. See you soon."
