The quarter-final will take place on Wednesday, 16th December, kicking-off at 19:30 GMT at Selhurst Park.
It is the third season in-a-row the Eagles have reached the last eight of the competition, after facing Arsenal away at the same stage in the last two years. Palace will be aiming to reach the last four for the first time since 2011/12.
Sunderland reached the final in 2013/14 when they were defeated by Manchester City. This will be the Black Cats' first quarter-final since the 2021/22 season.
The tie will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Once again this season, every Carabao Cup match is being broadcast live on Sky Sports for fans in the UK. For overseas supporters, selected matches will be made available via the EFL's international broadcast partners.
Ticketing information for this tie will be announced in due course.
