The teenager has been training with Patrick Vieira's first-team squad in recent weeks as he continues to learn from the senior professionals at the club.
The shortlist - which included several recent Premier League debutants - was chosen by the Premier League Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opposing player in each of their league matches during the month.
