The 26-year-old joined Crystal Palace from VfL Wolfsburg in August 2024, and helped the club seal its first-ever major trophy with a 1-0 win over Manchester City in the FA Cup Final the following May.
In his second season at the club, Lacroix helped Palace secure further history, playing all 90 minutes of the club’s FA Community Shield win over Liverpool at Wembley and – after becoming vice-captain – UEFA Conference League Final victory against Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig.
Lacroix’s impressive consistency – no outfield player has completed more minutes for Palace over the last two seasons – saw him earn a first senior international call-up for France in March and, subsequently, feature three times at this summer’s FIFA World Cup Finals as Les Bleus reached the semi-finals.
In total, Lacroix amassed 98 appearances over the course of his two campaigns with Palace, scoring four goals and playing his part in 31 clean sheets.
