Having only penned his scholarship last summer, the 17-year-old made 16 appearances and registered an assist for Javier Alonso's history-making Under-18s during the 2025/26 campaign.
Lamidi joined Watford at Under-15 level for his first taste of Academy football, spending two seasons with the Hornets before making the move to Palace in the summer of 2025.
The defender quickly settled into life at Palace, playing his part in an unforgettable season as the U18s reached the FA Youth Cup semi-finals for the first time in nearly 30 years and lifted the club's first-ever U18 Premier League Cup.
His performances also earned him a place in Darren Powell's Under-21s matchday squad for the Premier League 2 fixture away at Nottingham Forest towards the end of the campaign.
Upon signing his professional contract, Lamidi said: “I feel delighted. This is a new step for me, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity. I'm not going to take it for granted – I'll keep working hard every day.
“This is something that doesn't happen to many players, so the fact it's happened to me makes me incredibly happy.”
Academy Director Gary Issott added: “Dots has settled quickly into life at Palace during his first year as a scholar and played his part in a historic season for the U18s.
“Earning his first professional contract is a reward for his progress, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development with us.”
