Champions for the first time in 2025/26, Javier Alonso’s Young Eagles will begin their title defence away to Nottingham Forest, before home ties with Leeds United and Aston Villa.
The competition comprises eight groups of four teams, with the first-placed side from each section advancing to the knockout stages.
Last season, Palace topped their “group of death” with a 3-3 draw against Manchester City, a 3-1 victory over Sheffield United and an emphatic 4-0 win over Chelsea.
They then beat Peterborough United 2-1 before a last-gasp David Angibeaud header saw off Tottenham in the semi-finals.
In the final at Selhurst Park, the Young Eagles came from behind to draw 1-1 with Manchester United after extra-time, before winning 6-5 on penalties to lift the trophy for the first time in club history.
