The Young Eagles will take on elite opposition from across Europe, with Paris Saint-Germain, PSV Eindhoven, RSC Anderlecht and FC Porto drawn alongside them.
Two of Palace’s four fixtures have now been confirmed, with Darren Powell’s side welcoming PSG and Anderlecht to Sutton United's Borough Sports Ground in September.
Confirmed PLIC fixtures:
- Wednesday, 2nd September (19:00 BST, The Borough Sports Ground): Crystal Palace U21s v Paris Saint-Germain U21s
- Wednesday, 14th October (19:00 BST, The Borough Sports Ground): Crystal Palace U21s v RSC Anderlecht U21s
The dates for Palace’s meetings with PSV and Porto will be released in due course. Ticketing and broadcast details for the confirmed fixtures, meanwhile, will be announced separately.
The International Cup is an elite U21 competition featuring the top 16 finishers from Premier League 2 and 16 invited international sides from across Europe.
Running throughout the season alongside league and domestic fixtures, the tournament offers a fantastic platform for our homegrown talent to gain invaluable international experience in a highly competitive setting.
The tournament features 32 teams, divided into four groups of eight. Each group consists of four English sides and four European clubs, with every English team facing the European teams once. Importantly, the English sides will not play each other in the group stage.
All of Palace’s group games will be played at Sutton's Borough Sports Ground. Our Group D rivals include Brighton & Hove Albion, Ipswich Town, and Sunderland, but again the Young Eagles will only face the four European invitees.
