Andy Quy
Goalkeeping Coach
A former Premier League goalkeeper with Derby County, who also represented Tottenham Hotspur, Stevenage, Kettering Town and Hereford United, Quy moved into coaching in 2006 and subsequently spent more than 12 years as Stoke City’s goalkeeping coach, including eight seasons in the Premier League and one campaign in the UEFA Europa League.
A UEFA A Goalkeeper Licence holder, Quy has also coached at Huddersfield Town and Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC, joining Palace in September 2025 and helping the club attain its first-ever European trophy with May’s victory in Leipzig.
Damien Della Santa
Player Development & Set Piece Coach
Becoming a coach at just 14-years-old, Della Santa’s specialist skills in individual player development and set-piece strategy – honed over two decades – have seen him serve as an Assistant Coach at both Olympique Lyonnais (under Sage) and OGC Nice.
Della Santa also enjoys an ongoing association with the French Football Federation (FFF) as a coach educator and researcher, having previously worked as both a coach and scout at various clubs throughout the French football pyramid.
Jamal Alioui
Assistant Manager
A former Morocco international right-back who captained his country at the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, Alioui’s playing career also encompassed spells in Italy, France, Switzerland, Turkey, Morocco and Qatar.
In coaching, he served as Assistant Manager to Sage at Olympique Lyonnais, helping the French giants to one of their strongest-ever finishes to a season in 2024/25. Alioui then followed Sage to RC Lens where, in their single campaign, the duo won the Coupe de France and finished second in Ligue 1.
He has also previously served as an assistant with Morocco’s Under-20s side and at French clubs Misérieux-Trévoux, Nancy and FC Versailles, as well as managing AS Bron, FC Vaulx-en-Velin, GOAL FC and Bourges Foot 18.
Paddy McCarthy
Assistant Coach
McCarthy has been associated with Crystal Palace for 18 years, having first joined the club in the summer of 2008.
The former defender made 151 appearances across eight seasons in south London as a player, before moving into roles as Under-18s coach, Under-23s Head Coach and – in 2023 – joining Palace’s first-team coaching staff, where he helped the Eagles to win their historic first-ever trio of major trophies.
He has also worked as an assistant with the Republic of Ireland national team since early 2024.
Sandy Guichard

Fitness Coach at AS Monaco for the last seven years, Guichard has previously held similar posts at FC Sion in Switzerland; Sochaux, Bordeaux, Dijon and RC Besancon in France; and Trabzonspor in Turkey.
He has also previously worked for the Algerian national team.
