The 28-year-old joins the club on a two-year deal and will wear the No. 24 shirt.
Hopcroft first signed for Palace in 2023 from London City Lionesses, having begun her career at Chelsea’s Academy.
In her first season in red and blue, she was voted the Women’s Players’ Player of the Season by her Crystal Palace teammates and was crucial to our historic Women's Championship title win and subsequent promotion to the Women's Super League.
Playing as a creative midfielder, she made 27 appearances that season - scoring six times and providing three assists.
After a 2024/25 campaign disrupted by injury, Hopcroft hit the ground running for the 2025/26 season in the Women’s Super League 2.
She made 11 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal – a sensational long-range strike against Birmingham City – before joining the Blues for the remainder of the WSL2 season. Hopcroft now returns to South London after helping Birmingham earn promotion to the WSL.
Manager Jo Potter said: "Everyone is delighted to have Shanade back at the club.
"We all know how much she can offer, and I'm looking forward to seeing her play for us again."
Upon returning to the club, Hopcroft said: "I’m so happy to be re-joining the club.
"I feel like I’m home, and now I can’t wait for the season to start!"
To mark Shanade's return to the club, we are offering fans a special discount on tickets to our Everton game on Sunday.
