The agreement builds on Temporal’s existing multi-year partnership with Crystal Palace, which sees the technology company feature on the front of the men’s first-team shirt.
Temporal’s logo will now also feature prominently on the front of Palace Women’s matchday shirts, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting Crystal Palace as one club and playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of the Women’s team.
Temporal is the open-source software platform powering the world’s most advanced AI and enterprise technology systems. Its technology helps organisations including OpenAI, Netflix, JPMorgan Chase and Vodafone build applications that remain reliable and operational at enormous scale.
Beyond its presence on the shirt, Temporal and Crystal Palace will work closely with Palace Women’s players and staff to explore where the partnership can make a meaningful contribution as the team continues to develop.
This will include exploring opportunities to support areas such as performance, sports science, data and recruitment, as well as looking at ways technology can enhance the fan experience.
The partnership will also seek to support Palace Women’s continued growth off the pitch, helping the Club reach new audiences, attract more supporters and families to matches, and create opportunities to bring players and supporters closer to Temporal’s community through content, experiences and matchday activity.
Paul O'Brien, Chief Commercial Officer at Crystal Palace FC said: “We’re delighted that Temporal is expanding its commitment to Crystal Palace by becoming the front-of-shirt partner of our Women’s team.
“From the beginning of our relationship, Temporal has viewed its partnership with Palace as a commitment to the whole Club. This agreement is a really positive demonstration of that and comes at an exciting time for the continued development of Palace Women.
“Most importantly, there is a shared ambition for this to go beyond the logo on the shirt. We want to work closely together to understand where Temporal’s expertise and community can make a genuine contribution, whether that is helping us reach new supporters, enhancing the matchday experience or exploring how technology can support the team as we continue to grow.”
Samar Abbas, CEO and Co-Founder of Temporal, said: "Our name now sits on the shirts worn by the men, the women and the academy, and that is the part I am most proud of, because a partnership with a club means the whole club. Temporal exists to keep the world's most critical systems running, and the engineers who do that work start out as someone who was shown what was possible for them. Sport opens the same doors, so a young girl watching this team on the pitch is seeing exactly that, which is why we are glad to be expanding our investment in the future of Palace on every front.”
