Palace back Premier League's ‘Together Against Suicide’ campaign & partner with Life & Progress

Crystal Palace F.C. are proud to be backing the Premier League's Together Against Suicide campaign, and partner with Life & Progress, who are introducing new support for our supporters.
One in four people in the United Kingdom experience suicidal thoughts. Talking about suicide and mental health can be difficult, but breaking the silence – even something as simple as asking those around you if they’re okay – can save lives.
With today (Thursday, 10th September 2026) marking World Suicide Prevention Day, the club are launching multiple initiatives to encourage open conversations on suicide prevention, and signpost those who need it to expert services.
From October, the club will provide a team of Welfare Stewards on matchdays, trained in suicide prevention conversations. In addition, a matchday welfare hub will be available at the stadium, staffed by a Mind in Croydon representative, ready to talk with and support anyone who needs it.
Beyond matchday support, Palace understand the importance of conversation and are proud to partner with Life & Progress, who are offering Season Ticket Holders aged 16+ free, 24/7 support through their Mind Over Match campaign.
Mind Over Match is tailored specifically for football fans, and offers a free, confidential, 24/7 support service, delivered via phone or secure portal, offering counselling and clinical signposting built specifically for football fans. The service sees Life & Progress counsellors provide in-the-moment emotional support for a range of issues, including work-related pressure, bereavement, financial concerns, and more.
Season Ticket Holders will receive an email tomorrow (Friday, 11th September) with their login credentials. If you do not receive this, please email inclusion@cpfc.co.uk with your Client Reference Number to request these credentials.

Together Against Suicide
Someone in the UK takes their own life every 90 minutes, while one in four people will experience suicidal thoughts in their lifetime.
But having the first conversation can make all the difference. Football has a unique ability to bring people together.
Break the silence: ask those around you if they're okay.
Through Together Against Suicide, the Premier League and its clubs are supporting fans affected by suicide or suicidal thoughts, offering confidential support to those who need it most.
Developed in partnership with suicide prevention charity Samaritans, the initiative raises awareness of the confidential information and expertise available to fans.
Following the launch of the Together Against Suicide campaign in September 2025, Samaritans recorded up to 300 more callers to its national helpline each day. This increase in calls highlights the real impact that raising awareness can have.
Supporters can also consult the Premier League’s online hub, which equips fans with the skills and confidence to interrupt negative thought spirals, and start meaningful conversations and guide those who need it towards expert support.
