The Falmouth-born goalkeeper joined Palace from Watford – where he had twice been named Player of the Season – in the summer of 1997, following the Eagles’ promotion back to the Premier League under Steve Coppell.
Miller subsequently made 76 appearances for Palace over the next two seasons, before departing for Barnsley in 2002.
As well as starring at Watford and Palace, the shot-stopper had two spells at Exeter City – where he also mentored Palace Academy graduate Joe Whitworth as a coach – and spells at Birmingham, Barnsley, Bristol Rovers, Derby County, Southampton, Torquay United and Bodmin Town.
The thoughts of everyone associated with Crystal Palace are with Kevin’s loved ones at this difficult time.
