Javier Alonso’s side return to action after a three-week international break, with their second Group C fixture offering a chance to get their campaign back on track.
Palace opened the U18 Premier League Cup with a narrow 2-1 defeat by Nottingham Forest, who currently lead the group with three points. Leeds and Aston Villa shared a point in their opening fixtures, leaving the Young Eagles bottom of the section.
With only the group winner advancing to the quarter-finals, victory over Leeds is essential if Palace are to keep their hopes of retaining the trophy alive.
The Young Eagles know what it takes to go all the way, having lifted the U18 Premier League Cup for the first time last season after beating Manchester United on penalties in a dramatic final in front of 4,000 supporters at Selhurst Park.
