After an even first half, Gozo made his mark shortly after the restart, finishing a flowing counter-attack to put the Young Eagles ahead.
Doucouré was withdrawn just after the hour mark before Arsenal levelled midway through the second half.
Gozo made way after 72 minutes, with Palace pushing for a winner late on. Benji Casey came closest in added time as the Young Eagles almost snatched all three points.
