The captain told Sky Sports: “Obviously it's very tough to take. We've come in at half-time as the better team by far.
“We created opportunities. We went 1-0 down. It was unfortunate, we hit the crossbar. And then our Achilles' heel, set-pieces again, and obviously going to the break 1-0 down, but still full of belief.
“We went after it first 15 minutes of the second-half, but we just couldn't find a way through.
“I think it's tough. Obviously you chase the game. We've been done by, I think, three counter-attacks really, which is tough to take. We just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net, and it's tough to take when things are going against you, and every chance they seem to get goes in.
“But with that performance today in the first-half, if we play like that every game, we'll pick up a lot of results. We've just got to pick ourselves up and go again.
“We went toe-to-toe, we had a go. It's just so frustrating because you're just looking for a lucky break, a ball to fall to you, which it did in the 93rd minute. It's probably not a penalty, but if you get something like that in the first-half, it obviously changes the game completely.
“If our goal stood in the first-half, it changes it. But it's just about getting back up off the canvas now. We've got to go again.
“We've got to stick together as a group at times like this. Togetherness is key, and we'll come roaring back.”
