The Eagles take on Charlton Athletic at 14:00 GMT at The 360 Engage Stadium on Sunday, 8th November.
The Manager began by emphasising the need for her side to be brave against the Addicks.
She said: "We've got to make sure that we don't just rely on that underdog mentality.
"We've got to make sure that when we're in games that we see that bravery and that different type of mentality come out.
"I feel like we're missing certain opportunities and it then makes this game of more importance. There's no hiding that fact."

She will be coming up against a familiar face in the opposite dugout, with Potter and Karen Hills both playing for Charlton from 2005-2007.
The Palace boss had high praise for her Charlton counterpart.
Potter said: "Hillsy was one of the most horrible players to play against. She was only a small centre-half, but she was super aggressive and you always wanted her on your team.
"She was always one of those players that you could rely on. I think you can see she's much more calm now. She's a much more calm manager.
"I've got loads of admiration from her. She's been there, done it, got the t-shirt and I think it always helps when you're trying to learn and grow and pass on these messages."

Potter also heaped praise on summer signing Molly Bartrip, who has impressed in South London since joining from Tottenham Hotspur.
Bartrip is the only player to rank in the top three for tackles, clearances and blocks this season in the WSL.
Speaking on the quality shown by her new centre-back, Potter said: "I knew what I was getting with Molly. I played with Molly when she was a lot younger.
"I call her a ball magnet. I think it's one of those things that you've got and it's a natural ability for Molly to know where the ball's going to be.
"I knew why I was bringing her in - not just for her out of possession game because I think that's actually gone missed over the years.
"Everybody spoke about how good she is in possession and the technical abilities that she's got but her defensive work is second to none."
