Despite a first-half wondergoal from Annabel Blanchard, the Seagulls scored two second-half goals in five minutes to claim a 2-1 home win.
Napier reflected on the mood at half-time when Palace had the lead, and at full-time.
She said: "We're really disappointed. I think going in at half-time, 1-0 up, we're sitting in a good position. So, to not get anything from the game is just really disappointing.
"But I really believe in this group. We've got a really good group and we've got some really good leaders here that I know can lift up the team.
"We've got another week to prepare for the next game and we'll be ready.
"We'll work in training and we'll review the game and know what we need to work on and we'll put that into practise and come Sunday, we'll be ready."

Napier then looked ahead to Sunday's game against Charlton Athletic, where a win could take Palace up to tenth-place in the Barclays Women's Super League.
"Yes, I think without it being even a South London derby, every game in this league is a big game.
"But I think we'll be going into that game full of extra confidence and extra fight and belief, knowing what it means to this club, the fans, and knowing that we need to get out there and get those three points," she said.
Finally, she had a message for the Palace fans ahead of Sunday's massive clash.
She said: "Bring as many people as you can, get behind us and we'll be sure to put on a really good performance for you guys."
Napier and the team will be in action from 14:00 GMT on Sunday, 8th November at The 360 Engage Stadium.
