The Portuguese teenager joined Palace in the summer of 2021, and signed professional forms months later.
Nascimento signed his professional forms in January 2022, describing himself as “really grateful to the club for putting faith in me like this.”
He joined Palace from Peterborough United at the start of the 2021/22 season, having already made his professional debut as a 16-year-old on the final day of the 2020/21 League One campaign in May 2021.
During his time at Peterborough, he impressed for the Under-18s as they retained the Youth Alliance League, scoring a hat-trick against title rivals Leyton Orient and adding two goals in an FA Youth Cup run that took the side to the fourth round.
At Palace, he featured regularly for Rob Quinn’s Under-18 side in 2021/22, making 18 appearances as the young Eagles finished third.
He continued his development into the 2022/23 season, scoring five times in his first 10 matches and captaining the side for the first time in a 2-2 draw with Fulham.
His form earned him a place on the first-team bench for a Carabao Cup tie against Newcastle United in November 2022, before making his Under-21 debut off the bench in a Premier League Cup fixture against Bristol City in December. He finished that season with seven goals in 17 Under-18 appearances.
Ahead of 2023/24, Nascimento featured in the Under-21 pre-season tour to Salt Lake City. His early season was disrupted by injury, limiting him to just three appearances before returning in February 2024 to make a further 10 Under-21 appearances across the campaign.
He enjoyed a strong pre-season ahead of 2024/25, including involvement in the squad that faced Larne in the Jeff Hughes Testimonial. His first goal of the season came in the Premier League International Cup against Real Sociedad in September 2024.
He signed a contract extension in February 2025, although his 2024/25 campaign was again affected by injury, restricting him to eight appearances in total.
Nascimento made an impressive start to the 2025/26 season, announcing himself with a spectacular 40-yard swivelled strike in the EFL Trophy against Bromley, while also forming a strong attacking partnership with striker Zach Marsh.
He also scored in the Premier League International Cup victory over Juventus, finishing a flowing move with a composed volley at the back post after an outside-of-the-boot assist from Reid.
However, his momentum was halted in the second half of the campaign through injury, limiting him to 15 appearances across the season, in which he registered two goals and four assists.
