But following the unprecedented sight of the Eagles lifting aloft the FA Cup at Wembley in May 2025, Palace suddenly found themselves welcoming opposition from across the continent.
Teams from Norway, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Finland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy and Ukraine all travelled to South London – and all found themselves amidst the finest atmospheres the famous Selhurst Park had seen in its 102-year history.
Having gone on to conquer the UEFA Conference League in Leipzig, the opposition is set to step up a notch for Palace this season in the Europa League.
