Find out everything you need to know about the next stage of the competition – which Palace are hoping to reach tonight – below...
The draw
The draw for the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup will take place live on Sky Sports Main Event (UK) following the conclusion of the televised fourth-round tie between Liverpool and Chelsea this evening (Wednesday 29th October).
With that match set to kick off at 20:00 GMT, should penalties be avoided, it is likely the draw will begin at around 22:15.
Should Palace advance, you can get news of the quarter-final draw delivered straight to your phone within minutes of it happening, by downloading the Official Crystal Palace App.
The fixtures
Quarter-final matches are due to be played in the week commencing Monday, 14th December.
Once again, any matches which end in a draw in the fourth-round will go straight to penalties. Extra-time is only used in the Carabao Cup from the semi-finals onwards.
Who else could be in the draw?
After Peterborough United and – incredibly – League Two side Fleetwood Town advanced last night (the latter defeating Palace's conquerors in both of the last two seasons, Arsenal) – there are still some six ties to be played tonight.
Aside from Palace's, these involve fellow Premier League sides Manchester City, Brighton, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Brentford, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton and Newcastle.
What ball number would Palace be?
Should Palace advance, they would be ball number 4:
- Bradford
- Fleetwood Town
- Bournemouth or Aston Villa
- Fulham or Crystal Palace
- Liverpool or Chelsea
- Manchester City or Brighton
- Sunderland or Brentford
- Everton or Newcastle
