Palace showed their class from the word go against the Polish champions, with Yéremy Pino opening the scoring after pouncing on some slack defending, before Chris Richards headed in a second.
The game was then sealed before the break when Pino was fouled in the penalty area. The Spaniard appeared to want to take the resulting penalty, but in the end it was Strand Larsen who stepped up and smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
And, following the victory, the Norway international revealed that he was desperate to score from the spot, having missed his previous two spot-kicks.
"When you miss two [penalties] in a row, you have to smack it in," he told TNT Sports. "It was a risky one, because it was going a bit higher than I expected. But it was a good one, I enjoyed it. And in front of these fans it's amazing.
"Yeremy [Pino] is my brother, maybe he deserved to take it, but I needed one after missing two in-a-row. He understands.
