Team News: Four changes for Liverpool test
Pierre Sage has made four changes to his Crystal Palace starting XI against Liverpool.
Following the Eagles’ 1-1 draw with TSG Hoffenheim on Thursday evening, the Manager has shuffled his pack, with Jørgen Strand Larsen returning to lead the forward line following the suspension of Jean-Philippe Mateta.
In defence, Honest Ahanor and Jaydee Canvot make way for Axel Disasi and Jefferson Lerma, whilst on the right-hand side, Óscar Mingueza starts in lieu of Anan Khalaili.
Liverpool, meanwhile, make five changes from their midweek defeat to Fenerbahce: Ronald Araujo and Milos Kerkez return in defence at Selhurst Park, with Cody Gakpo, Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz also back in the team.
Palace won three of their four meetings with Liverpool last season in all competitions, including ending a 10-game winless home Premier League run against the Reds – but no team have won a higher share of their points away from home this season than the team from Merseyside (67%).
