Moyes was also asked if he was expecting Brennan Johnson to have extra motivation to impress against Palace, so soon after departing SE25.
But the Everton boss said he unsure whether this will be a decisive factor in Saturday's content.
"I don't know if that's Brennan's thinking, but it could be the same for Dwight [McNeil]. But we don't know that.
"Obviously, it's never an easy thing playing against your old club as quickly as it is. I think they'll both be glad to get this game out the way and they can move on after this way."

Moyes confirmed that new signing Christian Norgaard isn't yet fit enough for his debut and will miss Saturday's game against Palace.
James Garner, who is still recovering from a hernia operation, and Tim Iroegbunam will also miss out.
As mentioned above, former Eagle Brennan Johnson could feature against Palace after moving to Merseyside earlier this month.
