From goalscorers to record-breakers, heroic performances to history makers, Palace's players have taken the talent and form which saw them claim a first-ever European trophy last season – and applied it in North America in pursuit of world football's biggest prize.
It is little wonder that no other Premier League club's players have contributed more goals (eight) than Palace's, nor that only five other clubs have contributed more goals and assists in total (than the Eagles' 10 – with eight goals and two assists).
Add to that landmark appearances, tournament debuts and more – you can find some of the best stats in our full World Cup tracker right here – and so far, with just over three quarters of matches having now been played, the tournament has been a resounding success for South London.
But the signs were there all along – as you can enjoy just a handful of our players' 2025/26 individual highlights reels below!
Ismaïla Sarr (Senegal)
Whilst Senegal ultimately suffered elimination against Belgium earlier this week, with four goals scored in the tournament, Sarr is now his country's leading goalscorer in World Cup history (five in total), having also become the first player from his country to score and assist in the same match at the Finals...
The last time an African player scored four goals at a single World Cup Finals? Cameroon legend Roger Milla, in 1990, is the only other player to match Ismaïla’s achievement.
