After a thrilling first-half that saw Molly Bartrip put Palace in front, the Eagles were eventually undone by some quality Chelsea finishes that saw the game end 3-1.
Speaking at full-time, Everett felt that the scoreline didn't quite reflect her team's performance on the day.
"We are disappointed with the end scoreline. I don't think 3-1 quite reflects our performance and how the game went.
"Obviously we went 1-0 up first-half and second-half we knew it was going to be tough.
"We knew that they were going to bring out everything, so we are disappointed not to hold on and get something from the game," she said.
