Where do Palace stand in the Subway Players Cup?

Palace are competing in the newly-revamped Subway Players Cup this season, with 23 teams competing in an initial league phase that is split into Northern and Southern sections.

Each team will play three home and three away games against sides in their region, with three points for a win.

Any match that is level after normal time will be decided on penalties, with the winner gaining two points and the loser awarded one.

After two wins from two home games, Palace are in third-place in the league - with the top eight teams in the league phase qualifying for the quarter-finals in January.

We have our first away trip of the league phase tomorrow evening against Southampton, hosted at the Silverlake Stadium with a 19:00 kick-off.

The Opposition

The original Southampton Women's F.C. was founded in 1970 and was incredibly successful, winning eight of the first 11 Women's FA Cup Finals between 1970 and 1981, making them one of the most decorated teams in the competition's early history.

The current Southampton FC Women's team earned promotion to the WSL2 in 2022, and have remained in the league ever since.

Simon Parker was appointed Saints boss in the summer of 2025, and guided them to a fifth-place finish last season.
