The first of several Under-16 players to step up to Javier Alonso's Under-18s during their historic 2025/26 campaign, Bonsu-Amako made six appearances before the turn of the year, frequently anchoring the midfield when regulars such as Chuks Okoli and Euan Danaher were unavailable.
He continued to impress in the second half of the season, adding a further seven Under-18 appearances.
Most of those came during the run-in, where he completed the full 90 minutes against Norwich City, Ipswich Town and West Bromwich Albion before his campaign concluded due to GCSE commitments.
Bonsu-Amako's maturity on the ball and willingness to embrace the step up from Under-16 level showcased another promising year in his development.
He has rotated in and out of an extremely competitive U18s midfield this season, with Jacob Fasida, Arthur O’Keefe and Jamar Lee also vying for places.
