The Barnsley-born striker has starred at the highest level of the game for both club and country since she came through the ranks at Doncaster Rovers Belles in 2011.
England joined Chelsea in 2016, where she scored 21 goals in all competitions during the 2019/20 season, subsequently winning the Women’s Super League Player of the Season award. That season, she also scored the winning goal in the Continental League Cup Final, helping the Blues to a first-ever win in the competition.
She won nine major trophies during her spell in West London – including four league titles – before joining Tottenham Hotspur in January 2023, where her goals helped the Lilywhites secure survival and reach a first-ever FA Cup Final in her first full season.
England left Spurs this summer as their all-time leading goalscorer in the WSL, bagging 32 goals in her three-and-a-half seasons in North London.
The centre-forward has shone on the international stage too, scoring 11 goals in 26 appearances for the Lionesses to date.
England was a part of Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses squad which captured the public’s hearts by winning the UEFA Women's European Championships in 2022, before playing five times – including in the Final – during her country’s run to the 2023 FIFA World Cup Final.
