Peterborough United's poor start to the season continued as they conceded the only goal of the game five minutes into injury time against Brighton on Tuesday night to record their 11th loss in 15 league matches.
October had seen results improve with three wins from their five matches but away defeats to Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday and Brighton in midweek has well and truly killed the momentum at London Road. And they currently sit in 22nd position in the Championship
George Boyd has netted five goals so far this season, but the rest of the goals are thinly spread across the side with second top-scorer Emile Sinclair bagging all three of his strikes in the 3-1 win over Hull City in September.
Crystal Palace: Jonny Williams will be out for three weeks with a hamstring injury sustained whilst in action for the development side on Monday, but apart from Paddy McCarthy's groin problem Ian Holloway has a full squad to choose from.
Peterborough United: Darren Ferguson is sweating on the fitness of Emile Sinclair who missed the midweek game at Brighton with a thigh problem. Grant McCann picked up a groin injury during the game and will miss out, as will Tommy Rowe and Kgosi Ntlhe are sidelined long term with ankle injuries.
Referee: Gary Sutton
Assistants: Alexander Ihringova and Geoffrey Russell
Fourth Official: Gavin Muge
