Crystal Palace academy forward Reise Allassani scored a second half goal to help his England under 17 side secure a victory over Estonia on Sunday.
Having started the game on the bench the 16 year old replaced Liverpool's Jerome Sinclair on 50 minutes, and after setting up George Green's opening goal got on the scoresheet himself with 20 minutes to go to ensure the Young Lions kicked off their qualifying campaign with a win.
Allassani is proving to be a promising player and was was part of the England under 16 team that went on to win the Victory Shield in 2011. He marked his debut at that level by scoring an impressive goal from outside of the box against Wales, who will he face again in the under 17's next match on Tuesday before the squad go on to finish the qualifying round against the Irish on Friday.
In other international news, Palace forward Kyle Spence has been called up for the Scotland under 16s ahead of their Victory Shield Match against Northern Ireland on Friday at Palmerson Park, Dumfries.
Spence has previously worked with the squad during a training camp back in August.
