Palace On Tour - Leicester City

26 October 2012

Next Saturday (27th October), Palace travel to Leicester in what is shaping up to be a top of the table clash. And if that wasn’t enough to tempt you to make the journey to the King Power Stadium, the match has also been designated as the third annual Palace On Tour Day (POTD).

The ethos behind POTD is to encourage an army of Palace fans to travel to away match for one match in particular each season. It is focused on families and those who only make the odd away match and aims to create an electric and colourful atmosphere on the road, enabling those who don’t ordinarily travel to away matches to sample the unique atmosphere of a Palace away match.

Leicester was voted as the preferred choice after polls were conducted on the official website, and also the fans’ forums, and Transport links are good with the ground easily accessible by train and car. Or better, still, book a seat on the Palace away coach for door to door service from Selhurst.

Remember, the occasion is all about colour and noise, so bring scarves, balloons, banners and anything else you can muster. The match is likely to be featured as a key match on The Football League Show later in the evening; let’s use this opportunity to show the country what a passionate & enthusiastic club we are and cement our reputation as one of the most original & innovative set of supporters in the country.

Will all supporters please be aware that there will be a strong search procedure in place tomorrow.  This is to stop any attempt by supporters bringing in flares, smoke bombs and thunder flashes.  Please note as well no alcohol will be on sale.

Tickets are selling fast, so make sure you grab yours from the box office on 08712 00 00 71 or online now. Adult tickets are £26 – child tickets start from just £6.
