Foundation Thank Healing The Streets

26 September 2012

On a wonderful day that saw Palace triumph against Cardiff City, Trustees of Crystal Palace FC Foundation said a big thank to all those involved in the Healing the Streets football tournament.

Helped along by Crystal Palace FC Foundation staff and volunteers, and one year on from the Croydon Riots, local community organisation ‘Healing the Streets’ pulled together a massive football tournament involving the whole community including businesses, residents, community organisations and even a squad featuring Jon Rouse, Chief Executive of Croydon Council.

David Groves ‘Chair of the Foundation said’ “it’s fantastic to be able to say thanks for all the hard work going on to make Croydon a stronger and better place.”
