Crystal Palace will take a strong squad to Forest Green Rovers tomorrow with a number of first-team stars named in the travelling Eagles party.
Saturday’s friendly against the Vanarama Conference side was initially set to be an under-21 fixture, but with Tony Pulis looking to give his key players more vital minutes at the weekend, the squad will now take on a different look.
Among the 18-man group making the trip to Nailsworth are defender Brede Hangeland, who is set to make his Crystal Palace debut at The New Lawn after joining the club on a free transfer earlier today, while another new signing Fraizer Campbell will also feature for the Eagles following his move from Cardiff City.
The first-team squad has been split down the middle with Palace also facing Brentford tomorrow, meaning Pulis will travel to Griffin Park alongside his assistant Keith Millen, while first team coach Ben Garner and technical coach David Kemp will run the rule over the team taking on Forest Green.
Full Crystal Palace squad to face Forest Green Rovers: Lewis Price, Chris Kettings, Peter Ramage, Paddy McCarthy, Brede Hangeland, Jerome Williams, Michael Chambers, Ghassimu Sow, Connor Dymond, Adlene Guedioura, Stuart O’Keefe, Barry Bannan, Jerome Thomas, Owen Garvan, Reise Allassani, Sullay Kaikai, Fraizer Campbell, Dwight Gayle.
