Adlene Guedioura makes his first Barclays Premier League start since 2nd November this afternoon, after being named in Tony Pulis' starting XI for the game against Stoke City.
The Algerian midfielder has not played since breaking three ribs against West Bromwich Albion 11 weeks ago, after a nasty clash with Baggies keeper Boaz Myhill.
Guedioura, 24, is expected to make up part of a five-man midfield, replacing on loan striker Cameron Jerome - who is ineligible to play against his parent club.
That is the only change to the Eagles side from the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, although Aaron Wilbraham has been named among the substitutes for the first time since the 3-1 victory over Sunderland.
Meanwhile, new Stoke City signing John Guidetti goes straight into the Potters squad after being named on the bench by Mark Hughes.
Palace XI: Speroni, Mariappa, Gabbidon, Delaney, Parr, Bolasie, Ward, Jedinak (C), Puncheon, Guedioura, Chamakh.

Stoke City XI: Butland, Cameron, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters, Whelan, Nzonzi, Adam, Walters, Assaidi, Crouch.
