Palace Head Home From The USA

29 July 2014

Crystal Palace's first team stars are beginning the long journey home to south London after completing their American tour.

The Eagles finished their nine-day Stateside stay unbeaten when they defeated Richmond Kickers 3-0 last night, adding that to a 2-2 draw against Columbus Crew and a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union.

With their overall pre-season record now reading three wins from four games, Tony Pulis' men are on their way back to England, where their first-team squad will be divided for games against Brentford and Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.

The Eagles fly to Charlotte airport from Richmond at around 9pm BST, before catching their next flight on to Heathrow just before midnight.

They will be in the air overnight ahead of an early morning landing in the capital.
