Football will take centre stage at the City of London Festival as Crystal Palace Football Club teams up with the Shoe Lane Library to present an exciting morning of storytelling and sporting fun.
The festival’s ‘Storybook World Cup’ event will be held in the Bowler Hat theatre, Paternoster Square, between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday 12th July.
Stories will be read by popular children’s author Helena Pielichaty and comedian Mark Steel, while there will also be a special performance from theatre group Kazzum.
Tickets for the event are available free of charge, but must be booked in advance through the Barbican Box Office on 0845 120 7502.
